MetLife’s First Super Bowl Ad

This was the first year that MetLife ran an ad during the coveted Super Bowl ad space.  Their goal was to let viewers know that everyone deserves the best financial information and advice, no matter what their financial situation.  Whether you are looking into annuities or other financial investments, MetLife’s Super Bowl ad wants you to contact them to ensure you are protected financially.

Snoopy’s friends joined him for the classic cartoon commercial which looked to tug at the memories of viewers.  The cast of Scooby Doo, Voltron, Yosemite Sam, and Underdog were just a few of the characters used in MetLife’s Super Bowl commercial.  They all came together to give a warm feeling to viewers and show them that everyone is alike and deserves the financial protection that MetLife has to offer.

Super Bowl ad space is typically filled by car companies, Budweiser, and Doritos.  Maybe the entrance of MetLife into the mix will cause more financial and annuity companies to look into ads next year.  The millions of dollars spent on an ad always seems to work wonders for both brand recognition and company interest.
